The fourth language skill we learn is writing. Similar to speaking, it requires us to use both our hands and our minds to convey the written message, idea, thinking or information that we would have said otherwise. As such, it is a productive and dynamic skill.
Writing is one of the most important skills for disseminating formal and informal information. Like reading, writing is an acquired and learnt skill in human beings, and it is absolutely absent in animals as it requires intellect and logical inference of verbal codes. Out of the four skills of communication, writing is used the least in our day-to-day context. We usually avoid writing Unless it is extremely important. Writing is very useful and important skill in conveying various information in different academic and non-academic situations in our lives.
